Modeled the complete gear mechanism in AutoCAD using core features such as chamfering, filleting, trimming, extruding, and press-pulling to define precise tooth geometry. Fabricated a physical prototype using additive manufacturing (FDM), slicing the model in Ultimaker Cura and printing on a Creality Sermoon V1 Pro. Applied rapid prototyping and design iteration by troubleshooting initial print failures due to bed calibration, refining the setup, and reprinting to achieve a functional gear. The process reinforced hands-on manufacturing troubleshooting and iterative improvement.
